[Class 45] In a collapsable gate wherein mid-bars B formed by parallel flat bars separated by distance pieces b<2> are suspended by links C from the main pickets A which also are formed by spaced parallel flat bars, rollers G are provided near the bottoms of the mid-bars to coact with the track D<1> and limit the downward movement of the midbars. In a modified form of the gate wherein the upper links are extended to form a lazytongs, only the leading mid-bar is provided with the roller G. The lower links also may be extended to form an additional lazy-tongs.
