Abstract

423,815. Brackets. NEALE, R. W., 68, Graham Street, Birmingham. Oct. 13, 1933, No. 28280. [Class 52 (v)] [See also Groups XXXII and XXV] In a bracket for attaching a rear-view mirror to a vehicle in which the mirror 1 is supported on a bent arm 2 having a toothed ring 6 adjustably spring-pressed into engagement with a serrated holder 4 within which the lower end of the arm is rotatable, so that the arm may be moved manually or on meeting an obstruction, the holder fits within a contractible clip 13, Fig. 2, having an adjustable, serrated connection with a supporting bracket 15, the clip and holder being simultaneously clamped in position by screw means 14, 19 projecting from the bracket at right-angles to the lower end of the arm.
