422,619. Handbags &c. OPPENHEIMER, A. M., 31, Queen Victoria Street, London.- (Metallwarenfabrik Sahm ; 27, Ludwigstrasse, J³gesheim, Offenbach - on - Main, Germany) July 18, 1934, No. 21042. [Class 133] Handbags &c. are provided with closure means comprising a pair of toggle arms a, b, pivotally connected to a central part c provided with a handle d, the outer ends of the arms being formed with pins e, f, adapted to be engaged in the sides of the bag at the ends of the mouth opening. With the arms in the raised position shown the central part of the mouth of the bag opens widely ; by depressing the part c the arms straighten and close the mouth. The bag is carried by the fingers being engaged through the openings h and the handle d, thus ensuring that it remains closed. The device may be used with bags provided with a mouth frame comprising four bars pivotally connected together as shown in Fig. 9.
