[Classes 20 (i), 20 (iv), and 107] A combined advertising kiosk and street orderly 10, Fig. 3, consists of two or more sections 13, 30, mounted one upon the other, the lowest section 13 being provided with a litter receiver consisting of a bag 20, Fig. 5, or a bucket, resting on a shelf 22 of an outwardly opening door 14. Further, the door is provided with a metal hood 17 overhanging the bag 20, and, beneath the hood, with an inwardly opening flap 16 which normally covers an opening 15 through which the litter is delivered. In the construction shown, the upper section 30 is mounted on castors 31 upon the lower section 13 and is capable of revolving around a central pillar 32. Advertising panels are mounted between angle-iron frame members 38 of the kiosk and are illuminated from the interior or the exterior by electric lamps 33, 34. As shown in Fig. 7, the frame members 38 are provided with removable mouldings 42 which are secured in position by bolts and nuts 41. The top of the lower section is covered by a metal gauze screen 23 to prevent the entry of flies and other insects. The bag 20 is adapted to be hooked against the door and is supported in Position by hooks 19 which engage with a projection 18 formed along the lower edge of the hood. In a modification; the whole kiosk revolves around a central base. The kiosk is hexagonal, square, or octagonal in plan and a door 14 is provided in each side of the lower section, while the upper section has an advertising panel or showcase provided on each side. Surmounting the kiosk are one or more clock dials for indicating the times of arrival or departure of trains or public conveyances.
