Abstract

[Class 39 (i)] The foundation for a light-sensitive layer is formed with a "spongy-velvety" surface, for example, by a coarse flaky deposit, or by depositing metal electrolytically in spongy form. The surface is subsequently oxidized and treated with alkali metal vapour, and the cell is filled with gas.
