Abstract

418,008. Crushers with vibrating jaws. THOMAS, J., 1, The Crescent, Selby Road, Halton, Leeds. May 5, 1933, No. 13105. [Class 59.] In a stone-breaking machine the swinging jaw is provided, in addition to the angular toothed striking face 6, with a further fluted surface 7 in parallel therewith and adapted to crush any flakey material that may pass the teeth at the delivery end as a result of their being worn. The jaw is made in sections 1, 2, 3 centralized by dies 5 and secured together by bolts 4<x>, 5<x>, the upper and lower sections being of the same construction to enable the jaw to be reversed.
