417,108. Casting. WILLIAMS, G., Russell House, Stennels Avenue, Quinton, Birmingham. June 9, 1933, No. 14743/34. Divided out of 418,761. [Class 83 (i).] Metal-pouring.-A pourer for a centrifugal casting-machine is movable on a support parallel to the axis of the mould, the support being movable on parallel links swinging about vertical axes so that the pourer and support can be swung clear of the mould. A pourer a is detachably secured on a base b which is movable axially of the mould on wheels calong a support e. Flanges g locate the base laterally. The support e is secured adjustably on a further support h by securing-pieces j, k. The support h may be swung on parallel links m pivoted thereto about fixed pivots p, the extent of the motion being controlled by an adjustable stop q. After casting, a pull on the handle t retracts the pourer rearwardly on the support e, and then swings the support on the links m clear of the mould.
