Abstract

415,250. Toy building-parts. LINES BROS., Ltd., Morden Road, Merton, London.- (Kellner, G. ; 16, Lutherstrasse, Leipsic, Germany.) July 12, 1933, No. 19713. [Class 132 (iii).] A junction device for use in the assembly of perforated strips comprises a flat plate adapted to be bolted to a perforated strip, said plate having a bolt hole in either end, a series of perforations or recesses disposed in a circle concentric to one of the said bolt holes and two or more studs or projections disposed concentrically to the bolt hole in the other end. Structural members 2, 3 in the form of wooden laths or strips are connected together by flat plate junction pieces 7, 8 and an angled junction piece 6. The flat plate junction pieces 7, 8 have at one end a series of locking holes or recesses 10 concentric with a bolt hole 9 and have at the other end a bolt hole 9 with two or more concentric projections or studs 11. The adjustable or inclined angle-piece 6 has in each side a series of looking holes or depressions 10 concentric with a bolt hole 9, for adjustable engagement with the studs or projections of the pieces 7 and 8. Nuts and bolts 5 are applied to the bolt holes 9 and pass through spaced perforations in the members 2 and 3. On the lefthand side of Fig. 1 structural members 1 and 2 are connected together by an ordinary angle piece with a bolt hole in each side. Fig. 5 shows two structural members 2 and 3 connected together in the same plane by junction pieces 7 and 8.
