414,550. Metallic - vapour rectifiers. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., 28, Kingsway, London. Oct. 23, 1933, No. 29368. Convention date, Oct. 22, 1932. [Class 39 (i).] The lower end 4 of a tubular leading-in insulator 3 is in the form of an elongated bulb or cone which provides an abutment for the anode 1. An anode shield 2 or the cap 6 thereof rests on a ledge 5 in the insulator. Throughout the length of the insulator the walls thereof have a uniform thickness.
