Abstract
414,012. Darning. UNITED THREAD MILLS, Ltd., and KIRKWOOD, D. R. M., 50, Bothwell Street, Glasgow. April 7, 1934, No. 10553. [Class 112.] A device for use in darning fabrics comprises a skeleton frame 1 with a row of parallel threads or yarns 2 secured thereto. The threads 2 are laid over the hole and form the warps of the darn, the needle threads becoming the weft. When the hole is darned the frame 1 is removed, e.g. by cutting. The threads 2 may be secured to the frame by adhesive.
