Abstract

413,551. Windscreen &c. wipers. GRAN, C. L., Drammen, Norway. Nov. 20, 1933, No. 32380. [Class 138 (i).] A window &c. cleaning device which is adapted to be moved to and fro over the window, especially for removing ice or snow, comprises a wiping element 11 of heat resisting material which is clamped between the inwardly-inclined side edges of a metal holder 1, the element 11 being formed with a longitudinal recess 5 to receive an electrically-heated wire 4 and having side edges 3 which project from the metal holder 1 to bear against the window.
