Abstract

A remedy to be injected for the treatment of tuberculosis consists of a sterilized suspension of spirochaetes in physiological salt solution. A culture of spirochaete pallida on a nutrient containing animal organs is suspended in physiological salt solution, the suspension is strained and filtered through a wadding filter, and is then centrifuged. The solid separated by centrifuzing is again mixed with salt solution and centrifuged and the solid so obtained is mixed with salt solution and sterilized by heating.
