Abstract
410,435. Ink ribbons. ANGER, E., 13, Br³derstrasse, Plauen, Germany. Dec. 12, 1933, No. 35014. Convention date, Dec. 12, 1932. [Class 100 (iv).] A single-colour ribbon has two longitudinal zones of different intensity of colour. Preferably, the zones are half the width of the ribbon. The light and dark zones are used initially for normal and emphasized typing, and when the light zone is becoming exhausted, the ribbon is reversed and the dark and light zones are used for normal and emphasized typing. The two zones may be so woven or treated, for instance by pressing or filling, as to absorb differently the colouring-material. Colouring-materials of different density may be used for the two zones.
