Abstract

472,065. Typewriters &c. O'HALLORAN, J. P., and OKOPA CARBON PAPER ELIMINATOR, Ltd. May 9, 1936, No. 13140. [Class 100 (iv)] Ink-ribbon shields.-The line-gauge 18 of a typewriter or like machine is provided at the back with a shield 21 for preventing the lower types on the type-heads 13 from marking the paper 16 when the upper types are employed. The shield preferably consists of a metal strip provided at one end with an attaching-clip and having the other end free.
