Abstract

410,240. Supply meters. JOLLY, R. W., COOP, N. B., and BRITISH ELECTRIC METERS, Ltd., Morden Road, Mitcham, Surrey. Dec. 14, 1932, No. 35500. [Class 37.] Electricity meters wherein the shunt and series magnets, and the rotor disc, brake magnet and counter, are carried by separate and detachable frames, have the two frames relatively located by means provided solely for that purpose, means also being provided for fixing the frames in their located position. As shown, the driving magnets A, B are carried on a frame 2 and the rotor C, brake magnet D and counter E on a frame 4, the frame 4 being provided with pins 8 engaging holes in the frame 2, or the pins may be provided on the frame 2. The frame 4 is a diecasting with the pins 8 and bracket 6 integral therewith. After locating the frames, they are fixed together by screw pins 9. Components for torque adjustment may be carried by the frame 4.
