410,130. Endless - belt conveyers; shoots. VICARS, Ltd., T. & T., and TUNSTALL, H. H., Earlestown, Newton-le- Willows, Lancashire. Oct. 11, 1932, No. 28263. [Class 78 (i).] A magazine or hopper for biscuits or relatively flat articles consists of a vertical tubular portion 12 and an upper slightly inclined or horizontal channel portion 10 merging therewith by which the magazine can be readily replenished. The bottom of the channel may be formed by an endless conveyer band 15 driven by a pulley 16 at the bend between the upper and lower parts of the magazine. The front side of the magazine is in the form of a plate 18 extending round the bend, and preferably slotted to allow the initial filling to be performed.
