[Class 65 (ii).] A vehicle anti-dazzle screen of textile material or celluloid, glass, or the like, is pivotally attached to a bracket 8, screwed to the vehicle roof, by means of one or more friction joints, each comprising an eye, hook, or the like, or an arm, attached to or carried by the screen and engaged between the sides of a pair of separate discs 5, 5<a> carried on a pin 6 projecting from the bracket, the eye &c. being interlocked with one or both of the discs which are normally frictionally held relatively to the bracket by a spring or friction pad, but which, together with the screen, may be adjusted into, and retained in, different angular positions. As shown, the screen has a frame 1 from which a single arm or two side-arms 3 extend, each arm having its end bent into a hook or eye 4 interlocking with both discs 5, 5<a>, the discs being pressed against the eye 4 by springs 12, 12<a> bearing respectively against the bracket 8 and a washer 13 on the pin 6. The discs have opposed circular grooves 9, 9<a> to receive the eye 4 and radial recesses 10, 10<a> to receive the arm 3. Each arm 3 may be directly engaged between a pair of discs, the end of the arm being without a hook or eye.
