Abstract
405,878. Carbon papers. CLARKE, W. E., 200, Colbeck Street, Toronto, Canada. July 3, 1933, No. 18833. Convention date, July 15, 1932. [Class 16.] To facilitate the handling of carbon sheets and work sheets, and the alignment of the work sheets, each carbon sheet has a portion 3 cut away near the top end and has a plain margin extension 1 adapted to project beyond the edges of the work sheets, the sheet being also formed with an opening 4 including a part at least of the plain margin, so as to expose a portion of the edges of the work sheets and to determine their alignment. The carbon sheets are removed by grasping them by the margins 1, the work sheets being held at the part where the cut-away portions 3 occur. The uncoated margin may lie at either side of the sheet, and the opening 4 may be replaced by recesses in the edges.
