Abstract
402,365. Necktie stretchers. GULOWSKI, J., 72, Marszalkowska Street, Warsaw. July 11, 1933, No. 19653. [Class 141.] To stretch and smooth neckties a device is employed comprising a shaped form 1 for insertion in the necktie and a shaped cover 3 which is slipped over the necktie after insertion of the form 1. The cover is damped so that as it dries it contracts and presses the necktie. To press both ends of the necktie the form is slipped into the broad end the narrow end being then doubled back and the cover slipped over the whole. To facilitate placing the cover on the necktie after the insertion of the shaped form 1, a slit may be made in the wider end of the cover and provided with sliding- clasp or other fastener.
