Abstract

319,962. Livsey, H. Oct. 25, 1928. Trouser and other garment presses and stretchers. - A necktie press comprises a pair of tapered members pressed together by a clamp &c., one of the members being inserted in the tie to act in addition as a stretcher. In the form shown, members a, b are tapered towards one end, are curved transversely, and are pressed together by a screw clamp c, d. The tie is pulled over the member b which is then inserted in the clamp member c, In another form, the members a, b are flat and the former is offset and provided with lateral projections fitting in slots in upstanding members on the latter. Several ties may be simultaneously pressed by providing intermediate tapered members similar in outline to the members a, b.
