Abstract

Amber is exposed to artificial sun rays, and made into necklaces &c. to be worn by persons suffering from affections of the throat or lungs. The subjection to an electric field described in the parent Specification 401,272 is dispensed with. The amber may be exposed for five or ten minutes, two feet from a mercury vapour lamp of 450 watts with a three inch burner.ALSO:Amber treated with artificial sun rays is made into necklaces &c. to be worn by persons suffering from affections of the throat and lungs. The amber may be exposed for five or ten minutes, two feet from a mercury vapour lamp of 450 watts with a three inch burner. Specification 401,272 is referred to.
