Abstract

400,903. Saddles. ILLSLEY, L. 0., 2, Market Place, Oakham, Rutland. Sept. 1, 1933, No. 24316. Addition to 390,677. [Class 62.] The composite panel described in the parent Specification is provided with a binding strip 10 of leather or pigskin which is stitched to the edge of the leather 2 and rubber 6 and passes over the edge of the felt 1 and is there secured. According to the present modification the strip 10 is applied to the leather and rubber and stitched at 10b with the grain side inwards. It is then folded at 10d so as to obscure the line of stitching and carried over the edge of the felt as before.
