Abstract
400,361. Hand irons. IZONS & CO., Ltd. and CHESSHIRE, J. I., Albion Works, West Bromwich. July 9, 1932, No. 19432. [Class 138 (ii).] A handle for a hand-iron is formed from a length of solid drawn or welded tube which is squeezed at b so as to be arcuate in cross section at its ends, leaving the central part c circular. The ends are then bent round at a to the shape shown and placed in the mould and the sole d cast on in the usual wav. The ends of the handle may be punched or drilled at e to give an additional anchorage. In a modification the convex sides of the ends may face inward.
