Abstract

397,731. Table stands. MORTON & PERKS, Ltd. and WILSON, J. H., 7, New Spring Street, Birmingham. Nov. 26, 1932, No. 33475. [Class 128.] A holder for casserole or like dishes is provided with an arm directly pivoted at one end to the holder and extending across the holder and adapted to engage the casserole cover to raise or lower it. The arm 7 is preferably formed of wire and is connected to the metal holder 3 bv a hinge 8. The arm is curved to follow the shape of the cover 10 and has two U-shaped members 11, 12 which clip on the edges of the cover. The cover is raised by means of an extension 14, and is retained in raised position by a support 13 attached to the fixed part of the hinge 8. In a modification the clips 11, 12 may be dispensed with and the arm 7 sprung over the knob 9 of the' cover.
