[Class 54.] A dry gas-holder comprises a bell having inner and outer walls h, f movable relatively to a central guiding column d and a fixed base a carried by supports b. The bell is rendered gastight by sealing devices l, k carried by the base a and moves in contact with supporting blocks or rollers i, r, n and members p. The members p may be constructed as a horizontal strengthening ring. Instead of one guiding column, a number of columns distributed over the area occupied by the gasholder may be employed.
