Abstract
393,734. Knitted fabrics. MEIWALD, F., Schloss Schonbrunn, Vienna. April 25, 1932, No. 11850. Convention date, Oct. 15, 1931. [Class 74 (ii).] Greater elasticity is produced in knitted fabrics by using knitted tubes or knitted threads instead of twisted or like constructed yarns, the tubes or threads being provided, if desired., with a core. The wales may be at an angle to the axes of the tubes or the loops of consecutive wales may be staggered. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 7315/86, [Class 142, Weaving &c.], 3704/92, 14605/08, [both in Class 74, Lace-making &c.], and 374,606.
