[Class 146 (iii).] In a pen-nib having a spring arranged between the point portion and the shank, a semicircular spring 9 is stamped from the shank, and widens out at the front and merges into the point 10, and the edges 7 of the shank adjacent the spring are supported against the edges 6 of the point portion when the writing pressure exceeds a predetermined amount.
