Abstract
390,990. Envelopes. CHAPMAN, D. G. and DELANGE, H., Grange Mills, Balham, London. July 22, 1932, No. 20745. [Class 146 (ii).] In an envelope of the type provided with a pocket or compartment for the reception of the closing flap, the inner side flap 9 is rectangular in shape, and of a width such that it extends beyond the line of adhesive 12 to form a rectangular strip the full length of the envelope, and is slotted at the upper end at 16 adjacent to the line of adhesive to separate a tongue 17 adapted to furnish a pocket or compartment for the closing flap 6. The sides 8, 9 form the front, and the tongue 17 the back, of the pocket. The side flap 8 may be provided with a transverse line of adhesive 13 at the base of the tongue.
