Convention date, Sept. 28, 1931. [Class 89 (i).] A screw socket comprises two conical end pieces 2, 3 of aluminium connected by a collapsable section 4, this being surrounded by a lead sleeve 5. The device is secured into the hole 10 by striking the end flange 2. In a modification the inner core section is made of steel and is threaded to receive a screw.
