Abstract

389,148. Wringers. KAUFMANN, Ltd., H., 13, St. Andrew Street, London.- (Hecker, E. ; Schwelm, Germany.) Sept. 12, 1931, No. 25656. [Class 138 (ii).] A detachable draining- trough is supported and secured on the wringer frame by means of resilient members. Guide cheeks 3 are formed in the side members 2 of the frame and the side walls 5 of the trough are made of resilient material so as to grip the guides with sufficient friction to retain the trough in position. A catch may be provided on each side member 2 to engage beneath the trough when it is in position or the side members may carry spring-pressed plungers to engage recesses formed in the end walls of the trough. Resilient clips 7 forming part of or secured to the end walls of the trough are also provided to engage the usual tie-bar 8.
