Abstract
389,014. Seals ; baling. VAZQUEZ, A. A., 290, Apartado, Bilbao, Spain. Aug. 29,. 1932, No. 24153. Convention date, Aug. 29, 1931. [Classes 94 (i) and 94 (ii).] For securing the mouths of bags, a tie is used, of iron or mild steel, flattened in the middle as shown in Fig. 1 corresponding with the part which will contact with the neck of the bag. The ends are twisted together as shown in Fig. 2 and are crushed at c by pincers forming parallel or crossed grooves or ridges. In another form, Fig. 4, a metal strip d is rolled at the edges g and slotted at h, forming two parts at each end which can be twisted together. In a further modification, the slotting is dispensed with and the ends only are rolled inwards.
