[Class 81 (ii).] A compress or bandage of the kind impregnated or coated with paraffin wax is provided with an internal electric heating element, i.e. a wire 2, whereby the wax is kept in the liquid state. The wire is enclosed in a core 4 impregnated and coated with wax and surrounded by an impermeable cover 5 to prevent the wax escaping.
