[Class 97 (i).] Projection apparatus comprises two stationary lenses for projecting pictures on a picture strip, which has two rows of pictures, on to the same area of a screen, a shutter arrangement for obscuring the projection of one picture through one lens whilst permitting projection of another picture through the other lens, and means for advancing the picture strip, whereby the strip is advanced continuously through the apparatus. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the apparatus comprises a box G containing two coplanar objectives L, L<1> and a film P wound slowly from a spool R to a spool R<1> by the co-operation of a pinion I on one end of the spool R<1> with a worm W rotated by a handle H. The two rows of pictures on the film are illuminated by lamps F, F<1>. Link mechanism S, S<1> actuated by the spindle T rotated by the handle H oscillates the shutter O. The box G is divided into two compartments by the partition D. The corresponding images on the two rows of pictures represent the same scene in two different positions, but each pair represents a different scene from the next. The spool R has a spindle U rotatable by a handle X for rewinding.
