[Class 29.] Compression machines.-In closed rotary machines comprising condenser and evaporator casings 2, 1 with a compressor 4 held stationary by a weight 5, the member 8 carrying the floatactuated expansion valve or other regulating means is suspended separately from the compressor and provided with its own weight 10, so that it may operate freely under all conditions. The vessel 6 into which condensed refrigerant is fed by a stripper 7 may also be mounted separately from the compressor.
