[Class 89 (i).] The nut a for securing the side angle-irons of bedsteads has a tubular extension a<1> threaded internally through part of its length and which is expanded after passing through the work b, thus preventing it from becoming detached. In a modification a collar is pressed on to the extension a<1> instead of expanding its end.
