Abstract
384,915. Buckles &c. JARVIS, S. V., (trading as JARVIS & CO., S. V.), and SILBERSTIN, P., 66, Clerkenwell Road, London. June 8, 1932, No. 16245. [Class 43.] In one-piece buckles comprising transverse bars B, C, D joined by bars A, and wherein one or both outer bars are cut out at or near their centres such that a divided bar E is formed, the bar E is curved upwards and its free ends lie above, below or in the plane of the buckle. The buckle is thus adapted to be adjusted by one hand. The bars A may be parallel or slightly convergent. Several forms of the bar E are shown, adapted for thick leather, ribbon, and linked or milanese chain bands.
