Abstract

July 25, 1932, No. 20963. Convention date, July 24, 1931. [Class 39 (iii).] Deviation of the work carriers 14 from a predetermined path causes stoppage of the driving motor 30 and de-energization of the heating elements 23. The carriers 14 are pivoted to a conveyer 12 running in guides 13 and are provided with hooks and shelves for supporting the enamelled articles. The shelves are provided with a series of points to act as supports. Conductors 35 arranged adjacent to the conveyer are connected to one supply phase and the guides 13 are connected to the neutral point through the coil 36 of a relay controlling the circuit of a solenoid 33 adapted to trip switches in the motor and heating circuits. Contact of a carrier or an article thereon with the conductors 35 or the heating elements will close the circuit of coil 36.
