382,790. Air compressors and exhausters. NEIDL, G., 20, Badstrasse, Berlin. Dec. 4, 1931, No. 33657. Convention date, Dec. 5, 1930. [Class 8 (i).] The piston 2 of the compressor or vacuum pump is driven by an eccentric &c. and has a projection 21 moving in an extension of the working chamber, the end of this extension communicating through a narrow annular space between the piston projection and the inner surface of the extension with the working space to cushion the compression strokes. Inlet is effected through a port 11 and outlet through a port 10, co-operating with a piston port 9. A starting valve is provided in the opening 15.
