[Class 74 (ii).] Scotch hose is made on a flat machine bv forming a gusset 4 on each side of the instep 3, joining the instep and the gussets to a sole portion which stops at the gussets, and inserting a spliced heel portion which extends below the level of the junction between the instep and sole portions.
