381,187. Upholstery stuffing-apparatus. DAVIS, F. M., 148, Curtain Road, and PULLMAN SPRING-FILLED CO., Ltd., 147, Curtain Road, London. June 30, 1931, No. 18860. [Class 52 (iv).] The work-table of a stuffing-machine has a conveyer belt 2 moving towards a pair of feed rollers 4, 5, there being a pair of longitudinal guide walls 22 above the conveyer which are adjustably spaced apart. In the preferred form the guide walls are adjusted by right- and left-handed screws 25 geared for simultaneous operation and the sides of the extrusion nozzle 6, which are of U-section and in telescopic relation, are secured to the guide walls to move therewith. An additional feed roll 41 geared to the main rolls may be situated adjacent thereto.
