Abstract

380,869. Bottles ; cartons. DAVIES, R. V., 22, Northumberland Avenue, London. July 2, 1931, No. 19135. [Classes 18 and 125 (i).] Bottles, jars, cartons, &c. have printed characters displayed towards the interior, the part of the container opposite the characters being non-transparent except for a window through which the characters can be viewed. In the form shown, a label 2 is applied to a bottle, printed characters 5 being on the face of the label next to the bottle, and the label being provided with a window 3. The label may be in two parts with the characters on one part and the window in the other ; the characters may be moulded or sandblasted on the bottle. In another form a carton has a label, face inwards, on the inside of its wrapper which is provided with a transparent section on its opposite face ; the ends of the carton are also transparent to admit light.
