Abstract

380,575. Amusement apparatus. KAMIYA, H. S., 37, Windermere Road, Blackpool. Aug. 24, 1931, No. 23735. [Class 132 (i).] An apparatus of the kind in which trackless electricallypropelled vehicles are propelled over a conducting floor by current from a conducting roof is provided with an undulating floor in order to add to the difficulty of steering. The floor is constructed of metal plates 15 mounted on a timber framing 16. The undulations may consist of regular undulating ridges 18 extending across the width of the floor, undulations 19 rising from the centre towards the edge or vice versa, waves as at 20 or saucer-shaped depressions 21 or combinations thereof. Current is supplied from a metal network 11. Fencing boards 14 are provided with buffer boards 14a separated therefrom by helical springs 14h.
