[Class 146 (ii).] A metal seal of the type comprising two members adapted to be interlocked together by hand pressure and to embrace or enclose a piece of string, wire, &c., or knots thereon, consists of an outer hollow box-like member e, Fig. 3, having one or a pair of inwardly-bent springy tongues c made in one piece as a continuation of one or two sides, and an inner hollow member f, Fig. 2, having corresponding slots a or springy tongues to interlock with the tongues c. The member f is formed with gaps b and the member e with notches d to accommodate the string &c.
