Abstract

377,963. AttachÚ case &c. handles. CHENEY, C. W., Factory Road, Soho, Birmingham. April 30, 1931, No. 12698. [Class 133.] The grip portion of an attachÚ case or like handle is composed of a filling member, comprising superposed flanged trough-shaped parts c<2>, c<3>, strengthened by a metal stiffener f, mounted in a frame formed by slotting and turning down the edges of a metal blank to provide side bars a<2>, a<3>, which are clinched under the flanges c<4>, and end flaps a<8> adapted to be turned against the ends of the lower part c<3>. The cardboard part c<2> projects upwardly through the slot a<6>, the lower part depending below the frame. Holes a<9> for the attachment links are formed in the ends of the side bars.
