377,134. Steamships. MELDAHL, K. G., Fredrikstad, Norway. March 7, 1932, No. 6825. Convention date, Sept. 2, 1931. [Classes 113 (ii) and 114.] In an arrangement in which the boilers 4 are arranged on a deck above the tank-top one or more trunks 7 are carried down between the boilers to the space 3 below which serves as a bunker. The trunk may be fitted with sliding doors leading to the stokehold and a shutter at the stokehold level so that coal can be shot directly into the stokehold.
