Abstract
376,568. Supplying consuming. devices. BRANSOM, W. J., 4, Renters Avenue, Hendon, London. Oct. 9, 1931, No. 28080. [Class 38 (iv).] In a system in which two circuits, a light load circuit 6 and a heavy load circuit 9, are connected in parallel to a battery j and a prime-mover driven generator a is automatically started and connected in parallel with the battery when the current exceeds a predetermined value or when a load such as v is connected to the circuit 9, a high resistance q is included in the load circuit 9 to restrict the current taken from the battery until the generator a is operating at full voltage. A relay r short circuits the resistance q when the generator voltage exceeds a predetermined value.
