374,775. Screw-caps for bottles. RECKITT & SONS, Ltd., Kingston Starch Works, Dansom Lane, Hull, and STRACHAN, B. L., Aberfeldie, Kingsgate, Bridlington, Yorkshire. Nov. 26, 1931, No. 32818. [Classes 125 (iii).] Relates to sheet metal 1 screw-caps for bottles &c., of the type having a milled gripping surface. In order to facilitate the operation of such caps, the lower edge of the screwed skirt 1 is flared outwards at 2 and upwards at 4, and the external surface of the flange 4 is milled or roughened. The diameter of the flange 4 is about one-third greater than that of the cap 3 and the height thereof is about one-half that of the cap.
