[Class 69 (i).] A floating cover for a tank comprises a flat sheet 13 supported by a pontoon 12, projecting above the sheet, and/or having its outer edge deeper than its inner edge. The sheet may be flexible, or be stiffened by trussing. The cover may have manholes 16, 17, a gauge hatch 18, a vent tube, and a sump 19 drained by pipes 21.
