373,894. Piston apparatus for discharging receptacles. BOOTH, J. B., Hay Street, Croydon Park, New South Wales, Australia. Sept. 24, 1931, No. 26650. [Class 102 (ii).] Apparatus for discharging liquid or pasty substances comprises a cylinder 10, closed at one end, and containing a replaceable cartridge 12, charged with the material. The open end of the cartridge is closed by a cork or other plug 20 having a central orifice closed by a paper disc. The cover 15 of a sheath 11, slidable on the cylinder 10, carries a tube 16, which enters the orifice in the plug 20 and has a collar 17 which engages the plug and moves it to express the material through the tube 16. The orifice in the cover is closed by a cap 19.
