[Class 35.] A brush-box a in which the brush slides is secured to a stud e by means of a substantially U - shaped clamping device d, whose limbs have their extremities c fitting in grooves of dovetail or T shape. A clamping screw f renders the construction rigid, and the U-shaped member d carries the tensioning device for the brush, preferably on lugs g. Adjacent faces of the brush-box and stud may be serrated.
